NAZVA is a Ukrainian music band with Galician-Donbas roots, founded in 2019 by Pavlo Gotz (Lviv) and Yaroslav Yarovenko (Horlivka). The band uniquely combines the style of alternative ethno-art house, playing double bass, viola, keys, and floor tom to create original music. The beginning of NAZVA’s career was associated with musical theater, particularly performing about the Executed Renaissance and writing soundtracks for art exhibitions.
In 2023, the band’s tracks blew up on streaming platforms, with the song “Сіґеле-Міґеле” placing first on Ukrainian Shazam, gaining over 7 million plays. Other well-known hits of the band are “Чужію я” and “На дно”. NAZVA became finalists of the Ukrainian National Selection for the Eurovision Song Contest 2024, demonstrating their popularity and influence on Ukrainian music
