Marusya Chuprynenko is a musician, theater and film actress, and the founder of the “documentary song” genre in Ukrainian music. ARTISTKA CHUPRYNENKO is an independent music project by actress and songwriter Marusya.
Her lyrics skillfully capture human feelings and painful memories, combining them with a deep sense of belonging to her native Kherson region, its steppes and seas. Artistka Chuprynenko’s performances are theatrical, and music becomes a frame for stories about love, pain, and hope.
